A FENOMENA PERGAULAN DINI ANAK DI ERA DIGITAL : IKHTIAR MENEGUHKAN ADAB PERGAULAN ISLAMI MELALUI METODE STORYTELLING DI MI AL HIDAYAH

Abstract

The phenomenon of early social interaction among children in the digital era has become an important concern, especially due to the decline of manners, respect, and ethical behavior in daily relationships. Easy access to digital media often influences children’s attitudes and patterns of communication. This study aims to strengthen Islamic social manners among students through the application of the storytelling method at MI Al Hidayah. The research employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings showed that storytelling created an engaging learning atmosphere and helped students understand values such as politeness, respect for teachers and peers, honesty, and responsibility. Students demonstrated gradual improvement in behavior during each cycle, including better communication, discipline, and mutual respect. The study concludes that the storytelling method is effective in reinforcing Islamic social ethics among children and can be used as an innovative learning strategy in elementary Islamic education institutions.
