PEMANFAATAN SAMPAH ANORGANIK SEBAGAI MEDIA KOLASE DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN PEMBELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA DI MI AL-LADUNNI PASURUAN

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of inorganic waste as collage material in developing Arts and Culture teaching at MI Al-Ladunni Pasuruan, as well as to determine the increase in student creativity through the use of this media. This study adopted a qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was implemented in two cycles, which included the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students at MI Al-Ladunni Pasuruan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and assessment of student work. The results of the study indicate that the use of inorganic waste as collage material successfully increased student creativity in Arts and Culture learning. This improvement can be seen from students' abilities in exploring ideas, combining colors, using used materials creatively, and creating more orderly and aesthetic collage works. In addition, the use of environmentally based media also succeeded in increasing student participation, enthusiasm, and involvement during the learning process. Therefore, the use of inorganic waste as collage media can be an innovative, creative, and environmentally friendly teaching media choice in Arts and Culture teaching at the elementary school level.
