This study aims to describe the process of internalizing religious values through the Khatmil Quran activity for students of SMK Darululum Purwodadi, a general vocational high school that integrates religious programs within its non-formal curriculum. The Khatmil Quran activity is held every Tuesday after the Dhuha prayer with congregational recitation of 15 juz of the Quran, so that in two sessions (two Tuesdays) one complete khatam of the Quran is accomplished. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research subjects include guiding teachers, religious activity coordinators, and student participants. The results show that the Khatmil Quran activity is effective in internalizing religious values such as discipline, khushu' (spiritual focus), Islamic brotherhood, love for the Quran, and spiritual responsibility. Although SMK Darululum Purwodadi is not an Islamic boarding school (pesantren), this activity is able to consistently shape students' religious character through structured routine habituation. This study recommends that the Khatmil Quran activity be made a flagship program adoptable by other Islamic-based public schools.
